While the normal Request/Response time is typically under 3 seconds or less, there are rare instances of delay, usually due to third party involvement in processing (i.e., OFAC check, ISP, etc.). Therefore, Digital Payments recommends leaving the connection open for approximately 30 seconds to incorporate possible delays.
