What Information Does DPG Collect?

How do we use the Non-Personal Data we collect?
We use this data in a limited fashion for the administration and operation of our Site, and to generally improve the overall quality of experience with the information we provide on our Site.
Personal Data refers to information that can be used to identify a living individual. We may obtain Personal Data from you through two types of interaction:

With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

The Personal Data and Non-Personal Data that you have provided to us may be made accessible to these DPG offices for customer relationship management and marketing purposes.
DPG does not sell or rent your Personal Data to third parties. DPG uses third parties to provide services to DPG and to you – either directly or indirectly. Where relevant, these companies are required to comply with our data privacy and information security standards when handling Personal Data and we aim that they do not compromise your Personal Data.
We may share your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is: a) authorized by law or necessary to comply with a legal process or to deliver the product or service you require; b) in response to legal claims; c) required to protect and defend the rights, property or legitimate interests of DPG; d) necessary to protect personal safety, property or other rights of DPG and its customers or employees; or e) an integral part of a sale of all or part of our business. Such disclosure may include cross-border transfer of Personal Data.
If legally compelled to disclose your information to a third party, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of a disclosure unless legally prohibited.
Selected Partners, Distributiors and Resellers
We may share your Personal Data, such as your e-mail contact, with selected DPG partners. This might include cross-border transfer of Personal Data. Some of them may contact you, either on our behalf or for their own account, about products, services or offers that we believe are important to you or your business, or to fulfill any terms under your licensing and service relationship with DPG, and to provide you a local technical and customer support.
Rights and Responsibilities
If you have given your Personal Data to DPG for the purpose of providing you with products or services, you have the right to ask us to advise you of the scope of information DPG processes about you, the purpose and nature of the processing, and information on who we share it with.
If you have given us your Personal Data, you can also request to update, correct, delete (assuming that this does not impact the services we are providing to you), or take it elsewhere at any time.
If you are concerned about potential violation of your privacy rights in conjunction with DPG website, please advise us of your concerns and we will strive to resolve them as soon as practically possible.
While we will strive to accommodate your requests, we may reject requests which risk the privacy of others, are unreasonable or repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing an existing business practice), or would be extremely impractical. Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of these reasons, after information is deleted from our services, we may not immediately be able to remove residual copies from our active servers and may not delete information from our backup systems.
In compliance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework Principles, DPG commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to the DPF Principles. European Union, Swiss and United Kingdom individuals with DPF inquiries or complaints should first contact DPG at firstname.lastname@example.org.
DPG has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the DPF Principles to an independent dispute resolution mechanism, Data Privacy Framework Services, operated by BBB National Programs. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit https://bbbprograms.org/programs/all-programs/dpf-consumers/ProcessForConsumers for more information and to file a complaint. This service is provided free of charge to you.
If your DPF complaint cannot be resolved through the above channels, under certain conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration for some residual claims not resolved by other redress mechanisms. See https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/article/G-Arbitration-Procedures-dpf?tabset-35584=2.
