DPG Announces Senior Leadership Changes

Digital Payments Group announces new executive appointments:

• Robert Appleby appointed to Chief Executive Officer
• Stewart Sime appointed to Chief Technology Officer
• Aleksandra Castanet appointed to Chief Operating Officer

Digital Payments Group announces global leadership changes to drive the next chapter of business expansion. Robert Appleby has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Stewart Sime has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer and Aleksandra Castanet has been appointed to Chief Operating Officer. In conjunction with the above, Robert, Stewart and Aleks have joined Company’s Board of Directors.

New Executive Team brings combined payments expertise from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. These individuals allows the group to expand product capabilities and introduce new controls within the organisation and concentrate on strategic growth including driving critical firmwide opportunities. The top leaders of our company will take the business to the next level, help to support cross-company initiatives and focus on product expansion.

About Robert Appleby

Highly respected throughout the industry, Rob has an extensive leadership experience across Financial Services, Banking, in Tech, and the Automotive Industry. Rob has a proven track record of delivering and managing complex global products and transformational change. Prior to Digital Payments Group, Rob was an International Payments Product Manager at J.P. Morgan, managing UK and US issued global payments solutions in Maritime, Cards and Prepaid payments sectors.

About Stewart Sime

Stewart has over 20 years of technology and banking expertise, with a focus on the delivery of large transformation programs. He led the technology development and product growth of the business, which has established a track-record of client success. Spending large periods of those years with industry leading organizations such as Gemalto and TSYS and most recently Deutsche Bank. Stewart brings to the group wide experience leading and delivering complex and innovative technical solutions in the payments space.

About Aleksandra Castanet

Aleksandra and her team will drive product strategy and delivery, operations, vendor optimization, business transformation, marketing and compliance. Prior to her joining, Aleks was a Vice President, Global Prepaid at J.P. Morgan, a position she held for 6 years. At J.P. Morgan, she directed all aspects of global prepaid account portfolio and was an expert in ATM and physical cash management. Her previous experience in payments included working with both private and public companies through strategic sales/exits, product growth and global expansion. Aleksandra’s held senior roles at FIS Global, Prepay Solutions and Altair Financial Services.
