How we are operating under COVID-19 restrictions with our international teams

It goes without saying that our thoughts are with everyone affected by the global outbreak of COVID-19.   As a management team we have been monitoring the situation closely and regularly, and in lines with local Government and Regional advice and alerts.   We recognise that how we respond is a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.  As such we are committed to providing a continuous service to our clients, while ensuring the top priority remains the well-being and safety of our staff and their families, the communities that we live in, and our clients.

Office locations, and working from home:   As of Thursday 12th March we temporarily closed out Czech and London offices.

All team members were provided with the technical set-up to work remotely and securely, and we are proud of how the team has adapted to and embraced meetings through digital collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.   We utilise these tools not just as a business medium, but to ensure we regularly meet socially and maintain our awesome team culture.

Business and personal travel: Within DPG, only business critical business travel is being sanctioned (and very unlikely) keeping the risk to a minimum.  Any previously booked non-essential travel has also been cancelled and meetings will be attended using conference lines/online meetings until the risk has been reduced to the point that Government travel advisories do not warn against it.   We highly discourage any holiday travel abroad making our staff aware of the risks to themselves and others.

Self-isolation: Our staff have been encouraged to self-isolate to protect themselves from encountering infected members of the public, reducing risk exposure.

Change readiness: We have intensified monitoring of transaction activity to ensure we adapt and react appropriately to changing patterns.  We have also accelerated responsiveness to all requests and approvals for changes to programmes requested by clients.

Again, we are monitoring the situation closely and regularly.  We will take further steps to mitigate any risk where possible.  We are all in this together and doing our utmost to face the ‘new normal’ ensuring we have the tools and appropriate attitude to be safe, while still enabling our drive and determination to continue through and beyond the current challenges.
